Pioneers of the Slurry Trenching Method
The addition of Inquip and Associates, Inc. (Inquip) to our team in 2020 makes us one of the oldest geotechnical companies in the nation. Together, we have a long history of supporting clients in the United States, Canada, South America, and other parts of the world through our geotechnical and specialty civil construction services.
Our senior staff of geotechnical engineers and construction superintendents helped pioneer the slurry trenching method of construction in the 1950s, notably supporting the Los Angeles Port Authority’s Terminal Island Project, the world’s first industrial application of the bentonite slurry trenching method of excavation.
