Forgen-Ahtna Joint Venture Awarded $7 B USACE MATOC and Initial Delta Pump Station Project

    June 10, 2025

Forgen, in partnership with Ahtna Government Services Corporation through their small business joint venture, has been awarded one of five small business positions on a $7 billion Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District and the Southwestern Division (SWD).

This MATOC supports horizontal construction across a range of civil works projects and will span a ten-year performance period. The contract is designed to address critical infrastructure needs throughout the region, with task orders anticipated to include flood risk management, ecosystem restoration, and navigation improvements.

In addition to the MATOC itself, the team was also awarded the initial seed task order project. The project is a Design-Build effort meaning the team will both design and construct a replacement for the Delta Pump Station in Dallas, Texas on the Trinity River. The pump station is part of the levee system and the replacement design will provide updated electrical and mechanical support systems to increase the throughput during high water periods.
