As your needs have evolved, our company has, too.

Today, we’re proud to be one of the safest self-performing environmental, geotechnical, and heavy civil contractors in America, with more than 500 employees supporting meaningful projects across the U.S. and Canada. With a passion for partnering with clients to solve complex challenges, we continue to expand our service offerings for the most comprehensive solutions. As for what the future holds—our story is only getting started.

2008

Founded in 2008 as Magnus Pacific, we have always been a company of innovators with a shared commitment to making a lasting impact through our environmental construction services.

2014

As our ambitions grew, our company did, too—and in 2014 Magnus Pacific was acquired by Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation, becoming Great Lakes Environmental and Infrastructure. Backed by the largest provider of dredging services in the United States, our portfolio and reputation as a major provider of environmental and remediation services continued to expand.

2019

In 2019, we propelled even further when we were purchased by the Sullivan Brothers Family of Companies (SBFC), a growing portfolio of companies specializing in marine dredging, disaster recovery, infrastructure, heavy civil construction, industrial services, and more across North America and beyond.

2020

In 2020, we unveiled our new identity as Forgen, accompanied by the tagline, ‘For Generations.’ Our name and tagline are a testament to our unwavering commitment to building a better tomorrow, one project at a time.

2020

We acquired one of the longest standing self-performing specialty geotechnical contractors in the nation, Inquip and Associates, Inc.
