Forgen partners with federal agencies on infrastructure, environmental, and rapid response construction projects to support thriving communities and national security. We prioritize self-performance with minimal subcontracting, leveraging our expertise in specialized construction methods and alternative delivery forms. This approach enables us to bring innovative solutions and effectively control potential risks to schedule, quality, and cost.

In addition to our own federal expertise, Forgen’s family of companies encompasses federal contractors skilled in general contracting, construction management, infrastructure, disaster response, and health and humanitarian services. Our family offers a wide range of federal construction services, including commercial, industrial, health facility, housing recovery, justice, educational, modular, and correctional projects. We also provide comprehensive disaster response services, including emergency sheltering, facility operation, mass population care, catering, field hospitals, and rapid repairs.

Capabilities

Forgen is classified as a large business under our primary NAICS, 237990 – Other Heavy Civil, and our secondary NAICS, 562910 – Remediation Services. We provide horizontal heavy civil and environmental construction services to support flood control, coastal protection, ecosystem restoration, superfund, and emergency response missions for various entities, including the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Our federal experience includes managing nine- and ten-figure task order contracts for remedial actions and rapid disaster infrastructure, as well as c-type contracts for civil works missions such as water infrastructure, environmental management and restoration, and responses to natural and manmade disasters.

We value the enhanced diversity and competitiveness that small business partnerships bring to both public and private projects. Forgen has maintained SBA Mentor-Protégé joint venture relationships with small and diverse businesses, completing hundreds of millions of dollars in civil works projects under the Mentor-Protégé program. By nurturing these partnerships, we help develop a robust and inclusive supply chain that benefits the federal government and the broader community.

For every project, we seek partners who complement our self-perform capabilities in large earthmoving, soil mixing/stabilization, cutoff wall construction, and deep foundations with mechanical, electrical, structural, professional, or other critical services. We also collaborate with designers, engineers, and constructors to tackle large and complex federal infrastructure challenges, including major programs and alternative delivery pursuits.

Forgen fully endorses the Three Phases of Control process developed by USACE, as it formalizes essential actions for project delivery and establishes guidelines that help us understand the customer’s expectations better.

The Three Phases of Control include:

Preparatory phase

Initial phase

Follow-up phase

We perform this process for each defining feature of work (DFOW) to ensure compliance with contract and specification/drawing requirements. A DFOW is a task or feature with a distinct beginning and end, including specific quality control features and tests, and is specified during the project planning stage.

Forgen takes a proactive approach to customer satisfaction, quality management, and continuous improvement to prevent issues actively. Our goal is to work with the government to prioritize needs and develop strategies to meet their requirements. We aim to identify and address potential problems and improve our work processes and products before issues arise.

As a federal contractor, we recognize the critical importance of the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) in evaluating and ensuring the quality and reliability of our work. CPARS ratings are vital to our reputation and success, directly impacting our ability to secure future contracts and demonstrate our commitment to excellence.

We dedicate ourselves to maintaining strong CPARS ratings by consistently delivering superior performance, adhering to project schedules, maintaining cost efficiency, and meeting or exceeding all contractual requirements. Our focus on transparency, effective communication, and continuous improvement ensures we not only meet but often exceed the expectations of our federal clients.

By prioritizing these values, we aim to build long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients and sustain a track record of outstanding performance in all our federal projects.
