    April 11, 2025

    Forgen construction apprenticeship program training

Forgen announces the launch of its new Apprenticeship Program, a major step forward in workforce development and craft training. This initiative is designed to equip the next generation of construction professionals with real-world skills, hands-on experience, and industry-recognized certifications—all while earning a paycheck.

As part of Forgen’s broader Craft Development Program, this Apprenticeship Program focuses on building competency toward Journey Level proficiency. Journey Level refers to a skilled professional who has completed their training and is fully qualified to perform their craft independently. It’s an incredible opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in construction without the traditional financial burden of education.

    Earn While You Learn

Apprentices receive paid, on-the-job training—so they are not just learning, they are earning. This structure helps reduce financial barriers and allows participants to support themselves while building a long-term career.

    Hands-On Experience in the Field

Forgen’s program emphasizes comprehensive, field-based training. Apprentices work under the guidance of seasoned professionals, learning practical techniques and gaining insight into best practices that can only be developed through real-world application.

    On-Site Classroom Instruction

In addition to jobsite training, apprentices attend classroom sessions either on-site or at an approved training partner location. These sessions provide essential theoretical knowledge that complements hands-on work.

    No Cost to Participants

True to Forgen’s commitment to empowering the future workforce, the program is offered free of charge to all participants. There are no tuition or training fees—just a commitment to learn and grow.

    NCCER Curriculum & Certification

Built around the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum, the program provides participants with respected, portable credentials. These certifications are nationally recognized and give apprentices a competitive edge throughout their careers.
