Forgen, as part of a joint venture team with Vazquez Commercial Contracting, LLC, has been selected as one of four contract holders for an Omaha Army Corps of Engineers HUBZone Set Aside Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Rapid Disaster Infrastructure. The contract, held by Vazquez Forgen JV, LLC, facilitates time-sensitive disaster, infrastructure, and construction-related activities in support of federally funded customers across the Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and outlying areas.
“For nearly 15 years, Forgen has assisted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in providing public and civil works services. We routinely perform time-sensitive disaster, infrastructure, and construction services and along with our Joint Venture Partner, Vazquez Commercial Contracting, we are excited to serve the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for this Rapid Disaster Infrastructure Response program,” says Michael Copeland, Senior Vice President for Forgen.
Projects under the MATOC will vary in size, complexity, location, and will require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to respond quickly and effectively.
