Forgen Recognized by Cal/OSHA with Golden Gate Recognition
Forgen is proud to announce that its Lower Elkhorn Levee Setback Project in Yolo County, California, has been awarded the Golden Gate Recognition Certificatefrom the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA). This honor recognizes Forgen’s commitment to its Incident and Injury Free safety culture and the implementation of an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
To earn this recognition, Forgen partnered with Cal/OSHA’s Consultation Service Branch to conduct a thorough audit of the company’s written safety program. Cal/OSHA representatives toured the Lower Elkhorn Levee Setback job site, reviewed safety protocols, and interviewed team members to ensure compliance with T8 CCR, Section 3203, the standard for an effective IIPP.
The Golden Gate Recognition was developed to provide motivation and support to companies that work proactively with their employees and Cal/OSHA to create and maintain safer work environments. This award acknowledges Forgen’s ongoing efforts to prioritize safety in every aspect of its operations.
