Nicolas Willig has joined Forgen as Vice President, Foundations Service Line.
Nicolas brings more than 32 years of experience with civil engineering, deep foundations, and heavy-civil and infrastructure throughout North America and Europe. As Vice President of Forgen’s Foundations Service Line, Nicolas will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth through forward-thinking infrastructure solutions using the combined resources of their Geotechnical Division.
“Nicolas’ extensive experience with specialty foundation techniques will bolster our growing Geotechnical Division. We are especially excited about the value his experience in emerging foundations technologies brings to our clients across North America,” says Matt Marks, Senior Vice President, Geotechnical Division for Forgen.
Nicolas says Forgen’s passion for excellence and teamwork inspired him to join the company. “I found a well-organized group of dedicated and highly professional individuals, most noticeably working as an enthusiastic team aiming to deliver safe and first-class projects.” His mission is to enhance Forgen’s growth by leveraging foundation techniques as adjacent services to Forgen’s core business. “I have the support of the whole organization to launch and manage the Foundation Service Line, and can only be excited about Forgen’s future,” he adds.
Throughout Nicolas’ career, he has served in roles ranging from project management to executive for a major deep foundation company. He also served as Chairman of the Deep Foundation Institute Slurry Wall Committee for four years. Nicolas will provide national leadership from the company’s Denton, Texas office.
